The Club can confirm it has made an invaluable signing in the form of a Defibrillator, based at Charford Recreation Ground. The life-saving device will also benefit the local Community.
The Defibrillator was purchased with generous donations received from The Bromsgrove Santa Sleigh earlier in September.
The Bromsgrove Santa Sleigh was formed back in 2023 when Rovers stepped in along with local business and sponsor, Bromsgrove Logistics.
Club Chairman, Bryn Davies said, “We are very pleased to be able to fund the purchase of such an invaluable and life-saving piece of equipment such as this. It will also be available for the local Community to use, which is truly remarkable.”
“As Charford has a populated residential area surrounding the football pitches, we felt the location would be perfect.”
The Defibrillator was purchased from Bruce Hims of Bruce’s Defibrillator Fundraising. Bruce, along with Club Secretary Mark Whitehouse, Paul Melbourne, Owner of Bromsgrove Logistics, Keane Glennon and Joe Coleman of Rovers U13 JC team were all present to unveil the state-of-the-art piece of kit.
“The Bromsgrove Santa Sleigh will be back on the streets once again in December and we as a Club are really looking forward to help once again, making people of all ages throughout our valuable Community smile with Christmas spirit. In 2023 The Santa Sleigh helped to support so many local Charities and we all aim to fulfill this again in 2024”, added Bryn Davies.
