Chairman Steps down after 4 Years

After 4 Years as Chairman, Bryn Davies has decided to step down from his Position. A new Chairman has been appointed, along with a familiar face as Vice-Chairman.

Bryn Davies has decided that now is the time to step down as Club Chairman after, what has to be said has been 4 and a half successful years as Rovers have grown from 1 team to 13.

In a Statement to The Committee and Managers he wrote, “I look back over the 4 years and so much has happened. When the Club was set up, it was forecast that after 3 years, 5 teams would be playing under Rovers. That was surpassed after 2 seasons and as you all know is now 13 teams along with Little Rovers.

The Club is in a very good position with some very level-headed individuals at the helm (you know who you all are!) So with a heavy heart I can now announce my final decision to step down as Club Chairman with immediate effect.”

He went on to add, “Thanks for all of the memories. I have made some good friends along the way and will continue to keep in touch and grab a few games where I can.”

Kristian Rock has taken on the Role of Chairman, having been Vice-Chairman previously. The new Vice-Chairman is Mike Gaffney, who was voted for this week by fellow Committee Members.

The Club would like to thank Bryn Davies for all of his time and effort over the years and wishes Kristian Rock and Mike Gaffney all the very best for the future in their new roles.
